Journal of Public Health Suboptimal Results
This blog intends to be the embryo of a Journal to share suboptimal results in the field of Public Health. It has grown out of an idea from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health course on Problem Solving. As a preliminary corporate image a picture of Sir Richard Doll has been used. He played a fundamental role in proving the causal relationship between tobacco and lung cancer.

Why?
Yes, why? So many jounals, and you still want another!
The reason is simple. As Sir Humphry Davy put it at the beggining of XIX century, many times we learn more from our mistakes than from our successes. That is why much valuable information is lost each time we do not share the big lessons of our own personal mistakes. And when it comes to Public Health, that may mean thousands of lives. This intends to be a marketplace to share all that secret and precious knowledge.
Another thing. It takes courage to share errors. That is why a hypothetical "Journal of Errors" would have little success. We do not seek to bring to light shameful acts. Our aim is to learn from one another, and share those moments of our work where things might have turned out better.
Feel yourselves at home.
